Homosapien Flower

Homosapien Flower

A Poem by Peaches
"

I'm learning so much!

"
I grow little like a cactus on the window shelf.
Sometimes I try twice as hard as they do,
And get just a piece of what they achieve.

But i'm okay.
I am enough
I'm trying.
I am trying.
I am growing.
Little by little...

I will stop comparing myself to others.
They are a different kind of intelligence.
They are a different kind of beauty.
We are not all of the same measurement.
We are all different kinds of flowers.
We all have our strengths
And difficulties.
We all breathe easy one day
And gasp for air the other.

The sunshine that helps flowers grow,
Is the rain that helps me too.
Where my tears help me grow,
In a sunflower field.

I will stop comparing myself to others.
I will find the beauty in all of us,
So we can become a garden
Where we make life thrive once again.
