Why is it?

Just a little somethin' I thought of :)

Why is it?

Why is it that people make cereal and pour the milk first?
Why do people cut themselves even though it hurts?

Why are some people afraid of the dark?
Why do some people believe in the stork?

Why do some people not brush their teeth?
Why do some people not eat beef?

Why do some people think they're all that?
Why do some people wear backwards hats?

Why do some people waste their time?
Why did I compose this rhyme?

People are weird.

I agree with everything except every word written. :P
To be serious though, it's how we function and it's how we grow up. Our environment and how we're raised make us who we are. You may call them 'weird' but they are as weird as every 'normal' person. Truth is, no one can define 'normal' and 'weird'... sure you may think you know but in the end, you're in no position to title some 'weird'....and personally, being normal is weird.

Again, excellently posed question/message, and you shortening rhythym actually appeals to me in this one (a lot of my earlier work follows a similar tack of tailing off). You clearly have a thoughtful mind, I hope you stick with it and develop your structure more :)

It is how we are raised what foods we like our bodies are different some foods we can handle others we can't depends on our bodies and we have differnet personalities. some are not Taught respect or are not loved enough are abused and have much anger in their homes are very high on them selves and no respect for others as they feel they are better. so many live differnet lives and not the same parents when ones are rude they don't mean it as they are not taught love or respect i just show kindness and pray for them it hurts me when many go through that but it's the corruptness of the world the lies ones feed children is why i teach my son so he's not decived by plastic and Fake people and many act on the abuse and pain they been through many think they are mean but on the inside they are sweet spirited souls and don't know how to be but showing love does help and never forcing things cause i was there once before.

i love to Help but i am always careful of ones i help you must be very wise and smart in these wicked Times we are induring as to make the right choices and don't make decisions based on your emotions always get's us in trouble when we feel confused means we can't think Right and will do the wrong things It's same as if we are in love and our Heart we feel confused that isn't love at all and many times our Emotions cloud our clear thinking and for us to make the right decisions due to being confused hurt angery upset .
