I'm Not Crazy

I'm Not Crazy

A Poem by Elisa
"

Word bundle challenge

"

I'm not crazy.

I'm trapped in this dream of us.

I'm not crazy,

I'm just sick of the lies I sleep in.

I'm not crazy,

but where do I start

the millionth beginning of the end?

How can I finally be free?

Free from this voiceless,

cowardly,

obsessive,

agonizing love.

My heart jumps when I see you
and for that I'll rip it out
and tear it to pieces...
if only you knew.

With you,

a golden thread wrapped around my heart,

with my tears falling on your fingers,

I beg you to end this.

If only my words

could escape my heart.

Author's Note

Elisa
Word bundle: finger, field, special, lie
I kind of changed the forms of the words in the word bundle, so I'm not sure if I cheated a little bit...plus this is a bundle from a long time ago. Sorry guys ;) I hope you enjoyed this one. Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great day!

I like this one,, but let me ask you a question, if I may, that is based upon your note,, which comes first, the poem or the form? i realize it's probably my own arrogance, but I think i can count one one hand the times I've tried to write a poem into a specific form. I've always been afraid of limiting my freedom of expression,, what are your thoughts on this?
