Wednesday Morning Poetry #1

A Poem by C. Michael Kirre

As I sit here and stare
out the window
Just feeling the seconds tick
slowly by
Simply enjoying these moments
of silence and peace
Watching the birds fly by
I feel like there is something wrong with me
Something not quite right
Inside
Almost like...
Almost like som sort of genetic
lack of ambition
I think I might have a mental disorder
I want to be right here
Forever
Looking at the birds
Staring out the window
I want to be exactly where I am
Right now
I want to be exactly who I am
Right now
Anonymous
No one
One in a billion

About
I am one of those who spend a lot of time staring out of windows or just out into inner and outer space without getting anywhere. My life is dominated by random thoughts and impulses. I am somewhat aw.. more..
