We in the USA have a prez that's the world's biggest troll! We've become numb to the constant annoyance. But your poem makes me envision something different, even tho I like your playful spoof on trolls. I simply like your description in the first two lines, just in terms of how well & aptly it describes texting mania in general (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

What an apt description of a troll.....any chat room has many of them - quite an experience to engage with them. Some can be tamed though.....suddenly thinking of a poem title, "Troll for sale" lol

An interesting take on an irritating and increasingly common issue, in a nut shell.... Neville

Technology makes it so easy for them. They can hide behind fake avatars on the internet and leave a trail of disruption in their wake. They are cowards, because I am sure that they wouldn't have the guts to say what they do in a face to face situation. Great image Phill, all teeth and no trousers and your title spot on.

Centuries ago they hid in caves, now they hide behind the relative anonymity of the net. I have come across them, (one on here a few years ago who did his best to drive me away, but completely failed.) I just treat them with the contempt, and pity, they deserve. :))

Beccy.

It used to be the mouth or print that caused the worst mayhem, now its technology. Some so-called progressive advantages have made it only too easy to revert to 'sticks, stones and boiling oil'. That graphic and your ten words speak a tome!
