Check the star you seek

You may fall off your planet

Picking the wrong one

Ah yes, often we don't even realize we crave the 'wrong star' until we fall off our planets... excellently worded, my friend!

Baby, that would constitute quite a fall!
I guess I'm pretty happy with the planet I was assigned to, so I'll just abide. It's safer that way, evidently.

With my luck it will be Pluto, no one even knows what it is...lol. This is a great short piece full of wisdom. Great work!!

reminds me of those commercials for us buying a star for someone.
Maybe they would also fall off the planet with us...

This is one of the best short format poems I've read from you lately. I love the way your message is intriguing & thought-provoking. I love the irreverent sassy tone. Such a waste to be hanging out there in space longing for something instead of savoring what we've got! *smile* Fondly, Margie
