A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee
"

PC is a way of silencing views and opinions that are disliked by elitist groups that seem to want everything.

When taken out of context

Negates objectives

anymore, the lines are so blurred...what is okay to say and feel, what is not....
the objectives overridden...and if we have to be told how to act and what to say....then it surely doesn't come sincerely, from within...we are like puppets, having our voice and actions manipulated---by a rule book we should never need to have.
powerful write, Phill.

Frankly, I believe the term "PC" has become so corrupt, it's meaningless. It's just another Facebook meme that provokes reactions for a whole host of reasons. You say PC is used by "elitist groups" -- I don't think you mean this, but California liberals like me are called "elite" all the time (even when barefoot & poor), so this kinda gives your overall posting a bit of a political slant, as perceived by some. That's the tricky part of using "terms" . . . they mean highly different & flammable things to everyone. But I do believe that invoking "PC" is a way of controlling people (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

So appropriate. Politics is all about supporting one and condemning the other on the basis of political idealization, rather than following the right track.
