Morning-Teatime

Morning-Teatime

A Poem by PianoFiend
"

Tea-time is the best time.

"

The sun rolls in

Behind the red velvet curtains.

A gleam of light is shown

Until the man with white gloves pulls them apart

To extol the morning star.

An ornate teacup,

Painted with exotic flowers,

Gold along the rim,

Serves the tea.

Black-clad fingers lightly grasp the teacup,

As the man with the noble face

Gazes out the window

And drinks in the beauty and the Earl Grey.

Life is good.
