A question from Ethan

A question from Ethan

A Poem by Ethan Castner
"

See, i ask a lot of questions, some are what ifs, some of my questions sometimes make people mad. I am super curious about everything, and sometimes i cant stop myself from asking!

"
I ask a lot of questions
some may find them dumb,
i cant help the way i think
or tell you where they come from,
i flip, i spin, i tweak my view
to see what i may find
i cant help the way i am
i am sorry if i waist your time
but my mind is full of questions,
questions all the time
what if, how come, what would, Why!
it happens all the time,
my questions are never boring
i promise to make you think,
its a gift and a curse these questions
cause its good but noisy to always think
 i will never change it
because if finally do
then i know
i have grown
lazy and complacent.

I question everything too. I understand. :) I've always been inquisitive, but as I've got older, I've got more and more obsessed with getting answers and alternative viewpoints. I don't like seeing things from only one angle. I used to be quite narrow-minded, but now I make it my mission to be as open-minded as I can be. I want every possible outcome of every possible situation, regardless of inconsequential factors like gender, race, sexuality, etc...
I think this is a great poem to express that desire to understand things. I think you express the annoyance it causes in others very well too!
Keep up the great work!
