Red Hula Hoops

Red Hula Hoops

A Poem by B

Image result for red rose garden
Soft light to a shadow of whispers
Places way behind another wish
Longing would stay still through daydream
Drawn a garden of bushful red
Twirling through hoops
For all those times spent
Waisted upon a greener hold
As the door could knock one last time

Thank you Pia
your first couplet is so intriguing ...have read it several times each more slowly .. the thought impressions and aesthetics of that space is ethereal ..so softly dark ..
love the poetic license taken ;) and a positive note when the door knocks .. one last time or not :)

This feels quite sad. Death, or worse. Someone walking out of your life. Enlighten me.
