Shimmers of Light

Shimmers of Light

A Poem by B

It maybe sunset
They met

Upon willing lights
Known to be right

Maybe upon seconds
Long as restful walks

Touched by light
Blending lives

Maybe distant time
Wove tales told

Shared words
Restless shores

Wandering lost towers
A renaissance night

Tonight another tomorrow
Borrowed to never remain

Thoughts sat at bay
Giving days a turn

If time would wait
For another story told

If only maybes became
Known to meanings held

So does a tone
In shimmering waves of lights

this is a look into the past at when love was forever...when two people, two separate lights became one huge beacon of happy.....and there is a tinge of sadness in this write...because for most of us those days are definitely bygone...and just simply gone...love has become an ephemeral, restless thing...
