Perfection

Perfection isn’t perfect

It is as flawed as you and me

In fact, it is a defect

Lying to you and me

Perfection is a concept,

Made by those who spend

Their unhappy lives chasing it,

Never cherishing what they have.

Perfection isn’t perfect

It is deadly to all

But purely a state of mind

Perfection is just a myth.
