The Card Master

The Card Master

A Poem by a.r.

I can’t believe it

You’ve outdone yourself

I didn’t see it before

But it is like a bad hand had been dealt

Your plays hurt more than a saber

Stabbing me every time

Make your move

Slowly killing me.

Your cards weren’t just for

Playing a game,

They are for an act,

One that you put on to damage me

To stick a card in everyone

You come across,

Showing your true

Sinister plan.
