Deadly Paradox

Deadly Paradox

A Poem by a.r.

I tried to fight the dark and horrible urges that feel quite stark
The abyss was encompassing my head with its dangerous quiet
Longing for my mother, I ignored one another
In my mind, I can not defy it, a large, raging riot
This rang terribly, the pain it caused, the loud, ugly riot
I can't and couldn't fight
It.
