Honesty; Is it the best policy?

Honesty; Is it the best policy?

A Poem by Playaz

Being honest and upfront is a double-edged sword
For the most part I don't expect an award
I do it for everyone's best interest
I even set up miscellaneous booby trap-page
Not to hurt those who are good
Rather to catch others' wrong doings
Seeing if they are who they claim
Or if they're out for their self gain
Disregarding others efforts
Then wondering why they have become paranoid of them
Never appreciating what they have
Even when its more then they should
Always about the newest and greatest
In lieu, it makes them hated
Unaware of their surroundings
Blinding by their belongings
Why steal from the hand that feeds
Trading friendships for minuscule greed
That last but that of a week
Why walk amongst the meek
When you had every chance
To not finish last
