Black Death

Black Death

A Poem by Playaz

I'm in search of some sort of enlightenment
I fear, however, the darkness will surround me forever
It's nothing I ever wanted in my life
To tell you the truth, I am still in a state of disbelief
My stomach cringes and my head races
I can no longer stand the sight of their faces
I want out desperately, I've escaped multiple times
Why does it constantly linger and try to control me repeatedly?
I long for a sense of ignorance, it's power is too heavy
It catches me everytime I start running
I tell myself it's finally disappeared into oblivion
Somehow it still finds me, it'll forever haunt me.
