Whispers in the Wind

Dark night blowing the course of wind

A storm brewing high slowly transcend

Bring a whip a circle of fast growing pain

Destruction in its path a heartless strain

It devours the land uprooting the trees

Man made structures to its shifting knees

The area it plummets deep in a wind blow

Leaving the many families deep into tow

Mass pain and loss all brought in pound

Its dangerous music brought in the sound

Tornado lust it will take what it needs

So the world can view all of its deeds

I lived in Texas. I saw a Tornado take apart a solid brick building completely . The poem told the truth. I would never live in tornado alley. You can see the tornadoes roaming the open spaces and getting stronger from the highways. Man believed he can control nature. He can't. No weakness in the excellent poetry.
