Novellas and Atoms

A Poem by PoetAnon

The purr of the refrigerator
mocks the terrain, formidable
and invisible,
of tomorrow,
ahead. A blip
on the frequency, of a universe.
Not important. and
barely visible.

Or is it a River?

Unknown territory of
territory, eons of
humans have
passed. Fireworks or sparks.
An instant of existence,
but a fierce hunger
- for more.

Weight of the highest magnitude.
Size of an atom.
Some things are real,
but not true.

A momentary life, finite
like wet grass in the morning.
A craggy path, curved with weight
and time;
Or is that a dock, wet with salt
and some kind of mist?

I leap again.
