A Heart Intertwined With Thine

A Heart Intertwined With Thine

A Poem by Melinda McQueen
"

Closer to the King.

"

To feel Thy love unconditional,

To rest in its assurance.

The thought almost unbelievable

That Thy love has given my life a chance.

I long to feel Thee near,

And have Thee ever by my side.

All my life to hold Thee dear,

A heart intertwined with Thine.

Thy grace fills the lonely space

Where doubt once crept.

Now, it is forever replaced

With a love which never truly left.

To be a vessel of hope

Shining forth Thy Light.

To ever bestow

A heart intertwined with Thine.

One with Thee,

Thy Word fills my heart

And sets me eternally free;

My forever life has its start.

May my life

Be Thy shine.

May this heart of mine

Be a heart intertwined with Thine.

What a lovely, spiritual write this is. You are so fortunate to have such a loving relationship with the Lord, may He continue to guide you on your path to his side (but hopefully not too soon.) Very nicely done! take care...dan

It is unreal
to find someone
that can let you be you
set you free
be there
but not be present
True love

You feel i lost that person
but he never left

Because for once you must have met an honest one
A cheeky honest one lol

Thank you for sharing romance

It is a melding of old English (many people today are put off by its use as they are perhaps intimidated by it) and your fresh thoughts of today which together have formed a beautiful prayer to Our Father!

This is more than a poem, it is a prayer of praise, and longing for absolution and guidance within the Fathers ways. A prayer of entreaty that reads like a psalm. God has blessed you with a gift to share His love, and you have made a glorious luminary.

The "T" words began to get on my nerves. Too much repetitive use of "T" words. But it is your work and you much be the final judge of how it makes you feel. It is a beautiful work in thought and concept.
