From My Chair

From My Chair

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

The path steep,

The way I try to keep.

Your will I seek

Until Heaven I meet.

Your Name I long to praise

In all my days.

Trusting You with all my cares

From my chair.

Though the journey is long,

I know I’m not alone.

Your love is told

As my heart You hold.

Let Your glory shine

In this life of mine.

Your love may I share

From my chair.

Let me give glory to Your Name,

Even in heartache.

For You are my Healer,

My Deliverer.

In all I go through,

You are true.

Hearing my every prayer

Until the day You take me from my chair.
