Treasures UnseenA Poem by Melinda McQueenTreasures Unseen
A thousand tears Upon a thousand fears. A peace needing revealed, A dream needing instilled.
The heart realizes What the mind disguises. For it knows the truth… Treasures unseen, more than a few.
A light shines from the creases Even though the heart is in pieces. A gleam
of hope, an ounce of faith
A thought, a memory Entitles it to be. Everlasting desire to succeed… Treasures unseen.
A constant friend In times when darkness seeps in, Reminding of its presence, Never to end.
What if dreams are forever caught In a golden vault? What if tears were the key To treasures unseen. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
