In the Twinkling of an Eye

 

A plan set in stone

To deliver His own.

His perfect will done

In sending His Son.

 

Now, there is hope in Jesus,

Who fills all the broken pieces.

When we call, in our hearts He resides,

In the twinkling of an eye.

 

An ever-present help

When all of life’s problems are dealt.

A whispered prayer away

And fear stays at bay.

 

Circumstances change,

Renewed faith sustained.

Hopes raised high,

In the twinkling of an eye.

 

When doubtful minds clear,

Redemption nears.

Jesus is coming back soon…

Coming back for me and you.

 

When the last trumpet sounds,

The hour will be found.

We shall be with Christ,

In the twinkling of an eye.
