Ever the Love

Ever the Love

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Ever the Love

Ever the love…

That fills my heart,

Captivating my soul.

A flicker of hope in the dark.

Ever the love…

That feeds my senses.

A sounding board

Echoing my deepest of secrets.

Ever the love…

That keeps me looking forward.

A journey along a paved road,

Even when the path seems hard.

Ever the love…

That accepts faults

And magnifies strengths.

An anchor through it all.

Ever the love…

That invites my dreams to reality.

A tangible feeling once intangible

Has now graced its wings over me.

This is the sentiment of a good human being.

"accepts faults/and magnifies strengths"

Cognitive framing isn't just a psychological term... it's a crucial part of indivudual happiness. And happy people make for a happy world; I wish more of us approached life the way you do. With grace and positivity... it would be a better place for every single one of us that way.
