Don't Tell Me it's ImpossibleA Poem by Melinda McQueenDon’t Tell Me it’s Impossible
Dreams come in all sizes, And though some are the same for all, Circumstances get in the way, Finding one’s self ready to fall.
“It’s not for you, it’s impossible.” Many may say, thinking you’re not capable. This is when you reply, “Don’t tell me it’s impossible.”
For there is a God Who parted the Red Sea, Who opened the eyes of the blind, And set the lame on their feet.
This same God lives in me, Moving me in ginger and supple Ways to keep me reaching. Don’t tell me it’s impossible.
For He has given me a measure of faith To grow and strengthen. With God, nothing is impossible, As I commit to Him, my faith deepens.
Through His amazing love, Jesus was sent and faith was made viable. If ever I lose hope, I know I’ll hear Him say, “Don’t tell Me it’s impossible.”
