He Walks on the Wind

He Walks on the Wind

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

He Walks on the Wind

It blows to and fro,

Sometimes gently moving along.

No matter what the plan,

His word stands.

Though storms rage,

And there are hardships and pain,

Soon it will all end;

He walks on the wind.

Designed and perfected,

Our faith is tested.

Like a baby bird is nudged from its nest,

So too, does God nudge us into what’s next.

At times we only see the storm,

Chaotic, we may feel in harm.

But on our Lord, we can depend;

He walks on the wind.

Mighty in majesty,

Within His children, He instills peace.

Even when the winds of life are violent,

His power never relents.

When trials come your way,

And you know not what to pray,
Know that God is within;

He walks all over the wind!
