Heaven is My Home

 

What shall I fear?

I have God living on the inside.

He dwells… He dwells… in me.

His love will I not hide.

 

What can the world do unto me?

I have a powerful God who doesn’t leave me alone.

I’m only here for a little while…

But Heaven is my home.

 

My future secure…

My faith, steadfast in Him.

I know where I’m going…

My Rock… my most precious gem.

 

Though I face hardships

And pain I know,

I’m making plans now…

For Heaven is my home.

 

Yes, I’m preparing--

Preparing for the place He’s prepared for me.

I love my Jesus, yes, I do.

I’ve given Him my heart to be set free.

 

His love unending,

And with Him, I can face tomorrow.

Because He dwells…He dwells… in me…

Heaven is my home!
