Arise, My Love

Arise, My Love

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Arise, My Love

Arise, my heart…

For God is still on His throne,

And He says I’m His own.

The lifter of my head,

He’s always my stead.

Arise, my worship…

Living for my Lord

And holding on to His Word.

Let my worship be more than song,

My life is to praise God alone.

Arise, my faith…

For my God is everything,

In whom I move and have my being.

The Light which keeps me moving forward,

Faith that keeps me calling upon my Lord.

Arise, my Love…

The One who is my heart,

For He conquered the grave dark.

He arose… He arose…

So, arise… arise… my praise unto His throne.
