He's Building MeA Poem by Melinda McQueen
He’s Building Me
The plans are laid, The path paved. Crooked places made straight, Sending me on my way.
The foundation is poured, As my sins are no more. Washed ever white, He’s building me in His Light.
Brick by brick, He’s creating me… Bricks called Peace, And bricks called Holiness, As the Spirit in me deems me blessed.
Windows are now placed So others may see my Lord’s grace. Curtains are never to be hung; He’s building me to shine His love.
All my walls He’s torn down, And replaced them with His strength that surrounds. For who needs walls When Christ protects from all?
When faced with hardships, Let me still praise Him. When hit with worldly uncertainties, He’s building me.
