Who She Is

Who She Is

 

She gathers together in one accord,

Uplifting one another in the Lord.

Meeting to hear the Word,

Praising Jesus, her strength and sword.

 

She has faith that moves mountains,

And feeds on His ever-flowing fountain.

She rejoices with those who rejoice,

And weeps with those who feel a void.

 

She has risen greatly,

And continues stately.

She reaches out to the world,

Telling of Jesus to man, woman, boy and girl.

 

She feeds the poor, helps the widow,

Prays for the sick and the brokenhearted fellow.

Lending hands and hearts,

In doing the Lord’s work, all have a part.

 

She is at her best

When she’s able to bless.

Upholding all that is good and kind,

She finds favor with the Divine.

 

She is Christ’s extended hand

All throughout the land;

Shining His Light wherever they perch.

She is the Church.
