I Want to be a Stream

 

I want to be a stream

That enfolds through the mountains.

Weaving my way in and out,

Rushing like a mighty fountain.

 

A steadfast source

Leading the way to the purpose.

Gliding freely to where I’m meant to be,

A place joyous.

 

I want to be a stream

That flows throughout.

Taking with me all I meet,

With a hallelujah shout!

 

A sure flow

Which attracts others to join.

To come share,

And forever rejoice.

 

I want to be a stream

That runs straight to the Lord--

The true stream

By the power of His Word.
