Love Dies Not

Love Dies Not

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Love Dies Not

If ever you’ve lost someone,

You know it’s true.

That love inside…

It stays with you.

It’s in a beautiful day,

It’s in a warm breeze.

Memories stay tucked in the heart,

Love dies not, and forever believes.

No time is too late,

No space too far.

No sea too deep

To get to where they are.

For all you must do

Is close your eyes,

And you’ll see them.

Love dies not, when memories you find.

Feel your loved one,

Keep them close by.

If you must,

Go ahead and cry.

For there’s a fountain

That flows your every sob.

It ever flows from soul to soul…

Love dies not.
