For the Love Within

For the Love Within

 

The door slammed closed,
the silence, deafening.

Never again will
that door be opening.

 

A buzz in the ear,
no, that’s the sound
of her heart breaking in two,
having fallen to the unforgiving ground.

 

What’s she to do now
that her heart’s been crushed?

Oh the pain, the ache!

It’s all too much!

 

She will move on
from the love destined to end.

She will be stronger
for the love within.

 

Days will creep by,
and years will somehow pass
before she knows
how to react.

 

Finding herself healed,
she’ll realize her heart still beats.

And it still craves
to be loved endlessly.

 

She’ll put away the past,
as she feels love bubble once again.

She will be happy and complete,
for the love within.

We grow stronger where we break. Failed relationships can cause heartbreak, but that doesn't mean that we can't learn from the experience or that we won't find love again at a later date. Emotive write which has a universal theme.
