Tend My Sheep

Tend My Sheep

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Tend My Sheep

Go seek my sheep,

For I love them so.

Reach far and wide,

Don’t let them go.

Precious in My sight,

They are in need of love and care.

Grab hold of each you find.

Feed My sheep.

They are scattered

And know not the way to Me.

Frightened and alone,

They know not that I can set them free.

Search high and low,

Go to the lowest valley.

Lift them to the mountaintops,

Find My sheep.

They know not where to look,

Be the light that shines into their darkness.

I’m here waiting--

Waiting to abundantly bless.

Open your hearts,

Be My hands and feet.

Above all else…

Love My sheep.
