Chapter 3 Promise

Promise's POV

“Oh my gosh where are you Ky?” I ask through my phone. I’m chilling out lying on my bed in a tank top and basketball shorts waiting for always late Kyra to come over so we can get through this evil creation named math.
“Oh, I completely forgot I’m supposed to come over to your house to do our math homework.” Kyra replies.
“Well, just hurry.” I reply.
“I’ll try but I have to go home first and change out of this stupid school uniform. I’m just now leaving Jin’s house.” Kyra replies.
“So, I guess the date didn’t go so well, cause he didn’t’ offer you a ride home.” I say joking.
“Be quiet it wasn’t a date and you already know if my parents saw me getting out of a strange car they’d interrogate the hell out of me.” Kyra replies and laughs.
“Well, just hurry up before I get out of my math mood.” I reply.
“What ever just be patient.” Kyra says.
“Just hurry up.” I reply.
“Well, hurry and hang up then.” Kyra says.
“Bye, and tell Jin I’ll beat him up next time he leaves you walking home by yourself.” I reply. Kyra giggles a little.
“Fine, bye.” Kyra replies.
“Later.” I say and hang up. I toss my phone on my pillow and just lay there waiting.
