Angel

There she sits, all alone

Crying poison tears of despair

She'd give anything for him

Take her life for his kiss

And risk it all for his love

Searching the shadows of her dark heart

She finds a light, her love for him

She asks only one thing

To be with him forever, intoxicated with pain

He is all she wants, all she needs

He comes up behind her, white wings carrying him

He needs her, like the flower needs the sun

She is everything to him

He'd give anything for this dark angel

She can't carry eternity's burdens

On her tattered black wings herself

She needs someone to lean on, a pillar of strength

She will no longer walk alone in the depths of her dark soul

She found her light, her guide

He is hers forever

A bond of love, never to be broken apart

He is her all, her everything

Her every breath, the reason she lives

The reason her heart beats

The light continues to grow, her love along with it

She no longer fears

Because she has an angel sent from above, walking with her
