Mono

Mono

A Poem by Vinyl Junkie

There are few and far between, rare
As a modest sunset. A golden haze
Reaching all limits of sight, beaming
Certainty across the edges of space.
Enliven shade drifts slowly closer, inching
Its way to absolution.

The smell of sanctity flows
Between melded minds.

Simple gazes into heavenly landscapes
Crowded by jealous stars,
Impatient for eternity.

Trying to lose track of time.

your descriptions are spot on. I like how alive the words are, it's like their
breathing. Because I'm always looking for new ways to format poetry and stuff
I read the whole poem backwards and I have two words......DO IT. I liked reading
it from the bottom to the top and I now realize that I can do that to a number of your
works. Aside from my sheer randomness and your awesome way with words I adore
how this piece gets the point across without be so big. Good Job!!!
