A Heart turned Upside Down

Losing the final chapter

I came into something knowing the consequences

He gets to see lots of women

I get to cry myself to sleep in lonliness

My pillow has tears from the love of a friend before

It now replaces a Mans touch

Now no more

I told myself i was gonna get hurt

I told myself a million times

Soon as my heart kicked in my emotions for him would change

my mind

Things we had in common

Suddenly turned into things we lacked in each other

I needed resurrance

He needed more resurrance

He was cold

I became warm

We werent on the same page

But the other woman would soon be

What i should have been

Why? cause she was with him from a distance

When my fault and his regret was us being together all the time

I hate being hurt

Expectations from someone that isnt you

Will always leave you vulnerable

Will leave you in pain

It makes you wanna speak there name in Vain

 

You wanna think im ok with something that was bound to expire

Two elements that would soon go up in smoke

When you put earth together with fire

This is it for me....

No more wanting someone beside me

No more trying to figure out baggage

When the baggage aint me

I'm stay solo

This is now considered a part of my destiny

Its set in stone

I'm tired of tears

I just wanna fly

Finally face my true fears
