Ash of love

"A poem for the dead, Dead as they live, And live as they died, In graves alike" This poem is written for the loss and wish to see our loved ones again. As we grow old and our memory lives on.

Breathless,

Still,

A living memory of your timeless beauty,

Engraved in my mind,

It still lives-

As I feel your ghost,

I look across

Cold stones,

As sorrow welcomes me-

To the home of death,

And grief sings,

The stories of bones old-

Living in dead souls,

I've held dead hands

Hoping they'd come to life,

I've wept tears of sorrow

Holding on to withered life!

I wake up everyday

Hoping it was a dream!

But my soul knows

As it can't feel life,

I continue and move,

Looking past our prime days!

Hoping to see you again in flesh,

As you sing the song of love-

To make me live again!

As I say the prayer

To death himself.
