Entrapped

Entrapped

A Poem by PolaroidRaid
"

This poem isn't a very well-written poem, but I didn't hold back.I didn't allow myself to erase any lines that I previously wrote.I simply let my thoughts run freely through my fingertips onto the page

"
My arcane secret.
The one that disturbs my every thought.
It carried me through the night with such intention and dignity.
Deceptive and intrusive,
entrapping me in lies.

My perception declared its renewal
but lacked the truth.
I thought I escaped.
Free from what I once called comfort.
Free of fear,
Free of destruction.

It called for me.
Its warn haunted me in the night
and lurked behind my every decision,
my every move.

My fears claimed the inevitable truth.
Its lifetime will never cease.
I am entrapped.

I like the ones written where i end up reading them over and over....lol

And still am not sure of the intended meaning. You did well then!

Give the impression of one who was in a bad situation, walked away, but didn't walk far enough and the strings or tendrils of fate have reached out and pull the individual back in.
Certainly captured the concept of Entrapment. Nice ink!
