pigmalion

pigmalion

A Poem by Savanna Lee

She sighs and throws
a glance across the floor,
faces swim before her
eyes,
as the world tumbles
over itself.
The sun collides with
her mind,
celestial dance of
pain and tears,
but she will be
reborn.
A new moon rises out
of the cranium
wreckage,
and she falls to her knees
in prayer.
                    -there is no hope
 for me.
