Golden Haired Girl

Golden Haired Girl

A Poem by Chris

A moment in time

Once passed far to quick

Breeze from the wind

Caused bumps on her skin

I pulled her in close

starred in her eyes

moved hair from her face

and to her surprise

Golden haired girl felt

the touch of my lips

A smack on my cheek

For an unsuspecting kiss

She wandered away

trails of tears left behind

Knowing from then on

Golden haired girl, wont become mine
