Blind Vision

Blind Vision

A Poem by Lionspaw

Blind Vision

Chaos abounds in modern time,
An artfully dispatched distraction.
Bleeding into our lives like a suicidal reaction.

An influential misdemeanor probing you to roam.
Through courtyards filled with pagen dreams better than your own

The colors of Truth, morality, and love,
are vivid and so so bright.
A gift relinquished,
To paint our horizon
And the fireflies at night.

But we View the world as dogs.
With our heads down, and colorblind.
Loyal to the masses.
We hunt what he can't confine.

I see you all from the inside out.
Your soul is who you are .
A ragtag book worn thin when read,
Can shine the brightest star.

So tell me why does an image define us?
Who are we supposed to be?
A picture tells a thousand words
But says nothing of you or me.

Pointing fingers, starring eyes, words won't be unheard.
Seeds grow fast, fed by tears.
Feed a wingless bird.

While mother materialism feeds a culture,
brimming, craving for more.....
We are canabals, scavengers hunting the weak.
Nature's dirty little w****s.

So unveil the judge that presides in you .
Break chains and let him loose
His ruling will no longer own you.
Cut ties and lose the noose.

See today like theirs no tomorrow.
Save the lost and quide their way
Read that book that's long forgot
And give your love away.
