my mom

This poem is written by me for my mom before mother's day...in this poem m telling her that...I love you but i can't express it like sis

I may argue with you at times,
I may raise my voice at times.
I may always call myself daddy's princess,
But I love you more mom you also know this.
I don't show my love like sis,
But I don't love you mom,never think this .
I don't gift you much
Because money is what I can't save,
But one day I start earning
I promise to give you everything you deserve.
I may resemble papa in many activities and face,
But in values and manners I am your copy and paste.
You know mom I don't have any work from you,
But when I reach home my eyes find only you.
The times when you are sick mom,
There is everything but it feels as if nothing is there mom.
I don't show my love like sis,
But I don't love you never think this.

This very beautiful poem brought a few tears to my eyes. I identified, because I too didn't show my love to my mum, like my brothers! Some of the sentences and grammar are a bit incorrect, but I suspect that English is your second language, and it really does not matter. What matters is the sentiment you portray and the way you say it. It looks as though you are on the way to do some rhyming too! Good write.
