Drummers

Drummers

A Poem by JillyBean
"

I wrote this 6 years ago.

"
When I hear them all drumming
I'll take out my drum too,
Turn to face them,
And play my own beat!

My song of freedom,
My heartbeat of pride.
I'll never let myself
Leave my own side!

At times it can be painful,
But if I can be myself
Nothing can make me cry,
Not you or anyone else!

I don't care what you think of me
Because I'm won't be anything
That I don't want to be.
Because I'll do what I want
Which I have decided is to be me!

I still sort of enjoy this poem as well, but I know it needs work.

I'm a college student. I write when I'm in the mood to write. I've tried several times to write decent length stories, but sort of get stuck somewhere near the second chapter. If I do ever produce a n.. more..
