My name is Telemachus, Son of Odysseus,

My father left me the day I was born,

Twenty years ago

 

My name is Telemachus, Son of Odysseus,

    My mother tells me he was a great man,

Others say he was bad

 

My name is Telemachus, Son of Odysseus,

I have decided I won't know if my father is good or bad,

Unless I see for myself

 

My name is Telemachus, Son of Odysseus,

I set off to the sea to search for my father,

Leaving my dear mother home

 

My name is Telemachus, Son of Odysseus,

I encountered Athena disquised as a man called Mentor,

Telling me my father will be home

 

My name is Telemachus, Son of Odysseus,

I voyaged home and when I returned,

I discovered my father was disquised as a beggar,

 

My name is Telemachus, Son of Odysseus,

My father had beaten my mothers test,

Then he and I fought together,

 

My name is Telemachus, Son of Odysseus,

Once we slaughtered all the traitors,

We got to live as one family finaly, United.

A little bit formal, though I like to romance the stories of mythlogy with a little magic tossed in lol

Omg!! Homer's Odyssey. The son so desperate to see his father and refusing to believe he was dead. I love that epic. That's cool

Hm, it's really interesting. I like how it retells the story, but I think it could be even better if some insight of Telemachus' emotions and reactions to Odysseus' arrival were tied in.
