Rushed out, was held till now

Elders are still tittle-tattling

Oh! Stomach seems empty

Look at others with eagerness

Again started crying, then you say

 

Oh! The awful stomach-ache

Mom asleep, merciless all will say

Tears flow and cry out, milk being fed

God! singing lullaby to make me sleep

Does not stop crying, then you say

 

Such, some infancy tensions,

Gave a thought? why surprised?

Was learning to speak easy anyway?

Innumerable falls while learning to walk

You baba babble, speak clear then you say

 

Don’t touch that, don’t go there

If ask anything- ‘don’t pester now’

We have no money with us

Day n night we are lectured

So much we have to bear

Cannot lead life on our own way

What a carefree life, then you say

I am glad you went back to your childhood but the later stage :P earlier you can only imagine not remember :)

दो बड़े कर रहे बातें
बच्चों की होती हैं दिन और रातें,
न कमाने की चिंता कोई,

भूले? क्या बचपन के दिन थे,
जब बोल बोलना नहीं सीखे थे,
था कितना कठिन बतलाना,
अपनी कोई परेशानी सुनना.

सिर्फ, रोकर बतलाना,
है लघु-शंका को आना.
लो पेट पर ही थपकी,
निकली, थी अब तक रुकी,
कपड़े गीले फिर कर दिए, फिर कहते हैं.

पेट को मिला आराम,
बड़े कर रहे अभी भी कोहराम.
ओह! पेट लग रहा है खाली,
देखूं सबको आँखें लिए सवाली,
अरे रोना शुरू हुआ, फिर कहते हैं.

पेट में हो रहा बहुत दर्द,
मम्मी है सोई, कहेंगे सब बेदर्द.
रोना छूटा, दूध पिलाते हैं,
उफ़ लोरी गा-गा सुलाते हैं,
रोना बंद नहीं हो रहा, फिर कहते हैं.

ये बालपन की थी कुछ परेशानी,
सोचा नहीं? क्यूँ हो रही है हैरानी?
बोलना सीखना क्या आसान था,
चलने में तो गिर कर बुरा हाल था,
संग मेरे तुतलाते हैं, साफ़ बोलो, फिर कहते हैं.

वो न छुओ, वहां न जाओ,
कुछ पूछो तो -अभी न सताओ.
ना ही पास है पैसे हमारे,
दिन-रात सुनाते हैं बातें सारे.
कितना सब हम सहते हैं,
ना अपनी मर्जी से जी सकते हैं,
