Dearly beloved

We have gathered here today

To watch and to behold

What dark magic will un fold

 

Pretty beautiful darling

Hold my hearts’ desires,

hold my thoughts

In your depths lie

the words, the tears

 

Keep my secrets

Wrapped under your spells

Passwords and trap doors

Lead into your soul

 

Tender gentle lovely

Don’t shut down,

don’t shut me out

Stay steady, breath with me

 

In out

Fan down

 

Hoplessly in love

In a relationship that’s strained

Everytime you break away

Million pieces of complexity and promise

 

Tap tap beautiful keys

The sound of which

Enlighten my thoughts

Again and again

Salvage words on your face

 

Little laptop

Sitting there

Staring gently

But I know the power that’s there
