Growing up as I did saw me quite often wanting love from others. This was absent from life as I new it so i began to take note of myself and love me for who i was and what I stood for. I stand by the notion that you just love yourself before others may love you. We must grow, we must develop....we must be true to us.

Thank you, Jacob. But hubris is not love. At this point one is the two-headed leviathan incarnate. You know you love yourself when you can't help but also love others. True love is unconditional and goes beyond the romantic and even parental. Because if you are putting conditions on the outside about who you love … you are definitely doing the same to yourself. I am only able to access this kind of thing when I give up my ego/judgment. Alas the flashes of anger and despair still hit … but not so much. Hope you are having a great day. Much of that unconditional love to you, my friend.

yes, i agree...hubris if at all love, it is demented...

sometimes it is a struggle to give up that ego/judgment...

There are moles and then there leviathans … there is water and air and then there is mud. I speak to the part that is like air and water … reflective and expansive … the mole is not meant to look in a mirror or at sunshine. So what are you a mole or a mighty leviathan? Choose now before a weasel chooses for you. Drum roll please … death is inevitable.
