Cancri

Cancri

A Poem by Pryde Foltz
"

There is a world a solar satellite where love is as common as rain

"
Cancri

there is a world

a solar satellite

where love is as common as rain

where warmth and bliss are cultivated

upon carbon lattices

seeded from the silken friction

                of skin on skin

souls permeate and radiate

inspire a nebular expansion

on the scale of the minute

deeper than the heaviest singular

       fold of space

I can teach you how to be happy

she promised, through glistening tears

I’ve got you, he whispered in return

and held her tight as she fell

     further into him

fingertip pulses

crystals and air fuse

micro-atmospheric symbioses

               heat and space subduction

diamonds bloom along her spine

unearthed by the gentle auger of his touch

I can teach you how to be happy

she promised, through glistening tears

I’ve got you, he whispered in return

and held her tighter

                    as they fell

~ Your words are as soothing and engrossing as a piece by Mozart or Bach. ~

Thank you, Relic. That is so kind:)
When the elements in our body are said to come from stars, then maybe when
we look up to the night sky,the universe is admiring it's self through your eyes
with an understanding we are indivisible. Really enjoyed your poem.

Kind, Regards, Phill.

Thank you, Phil. For your very kind review:)
now this is a space program i could get behind...
an atmosphere of pure love and peace...a galaxy where hearts float gently in a wispy fashion...where tears dissipate before gravity grabs hold of them.

Thank you, Jacob:) The universe inspires as she unfolds. We are lucky:)
I love this!!! As someone who works in the field, it’s refreshing to see technical words taken for a spin in a different setting. 😀😀

And who doesn’t love falling in love...

lovely Pryde! like wishing upon a star eh!? how do you find such far away places .. had to look up Cancri .. how exotic my friend ;) the pull of sensuous touch, connection and patience is strong in your poem ... the diamonds on her spine is very interesting .. as i thought of it the diamonds are hard and sharp .. but in context of her skin they become shinning fairy points of light and gently explosions ... and i think this
"heat and space subduction" is absolutely brilliant ... the word play and the immense power of the earth in motion ... sideways and downward .. oh my!! you are the Queen ... :)
