and we kissed by the laughing tree

and we kissed by the laughing tree

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

faeries are swaying in the breeze

"
sweet new love fills me with hope
and the aftertaste of dread
but i'm happy, i'm laughing
the world could end
and i can say i'm content

faeries are swaying in the breeze
above crimson grass, under a pale sky
should i tell her?
some lies are untold truths
so what does that make me?

devils play the harp gently
twirling apples between notes
give me knowledge even if
it changes how i see her

lua
these words are so beautiful, a strange melancholy mixed with hope

Filled with sweetness, and words that sway gently back and forth between the breeze of syllables and wordplay. Keep twirling apples between notes, good stuff. Loved it
